Mangum Schools will be CLOSED on Thursday, February 24th. We anticipate that classes will resume as normal on Friday, February 25th.

Mangum School's mask mandate has been lifted. Also, COVID testing is available to expedite the return of students and staff to the classroom, rather than having to quarantine. Students and staff can make an appointment to be tested through the Superintendent's Office, 782-3371.
Mangum Public School’s classes and activities have been cancelled for Friday, February 4.
As a result of the pending winter storm, Mangum Schools will be closed Wednesday, Feb 2 and Thursday, Feb 3. Ice, Snow and Dangerous Low Temperatures are expected.
Because of road conditions, Mangum Public Schools will be closed Thursday, January 27th.
NWS has updated expected snow storm to start around noon. Mangum Schools will run buses and car lines at 12:30. If your student rides a bus and you will not be home or can not pickup your student- call school immediately to make arrangements. We will continue to staff all buildings until 3:30 or all students have been safely evacuated.
Mangum Public Schools will be closed Wednesday, January 19. Currently plans are to run buses as normal on Thursday, January 20. As a result of COVID, we do not have enough staff to safely conduct class. The school day will be made-up later this semester.
Starting Thursday, Mangum Schools will require masks in hallways, common areas, and buses during school hours. If you object to your student wearing a mask, an opt-out form for medical, religious and/or personal reasons is available on our website homepage, as well as all school offices.
Crossover Prep has notified us that they will not be coming (this is the game scheduled late to replace Hollis who dropped to 8-man); therefore, Mangum HS Football Game schedule for tonight has been cancelled.
Because of power outage, parent-teacher conferences will be rescheduled.
Starting tomorrow, you may receive a credit card voucher for food based on virtual instruction days during the 2020-2021 school year. The credit card will not refer to the P-EBT program or have any data about meals. This is not junk mail. Please see our webpage for more info www.mangum.k12.ok.us
Mangum Schools’ summer enrichment program starts tomorrow, June 1. Any Mangum student that just completed the school year in grades PK-8th can report to Edison Elementary between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. (HS program consists of credit recovery by arrangement with the HS Counselor)
Mangum has no water and it is not expected to return before the end of the day. By statue, we must dismiss school. Therefore, we are asking that you to come to the school at 1:45 to pick-up your students. Please use your normal car line. Students who can not be picked up or who ride a bus will remain at school until contact can be made. We plan to rund bus routes at 2:00 however, we WILL NOT drop off students until arrangements can be made.
A fire alarm was triggered at Edison Elementary this morning. Out of caution, the building was evacuated and the fire department responded. There was no fire, after the building was cleared it was determined that a student accidently bumped into an alarm pull, breaking it and sounding the alarm. Everyone has safely returned to class.

Unfortunately, the pipes are frozen in both cafeterias. Therefore, regardless of road conditions, Mangum Schools will be closed on Friday, February 19. Once we return, administration will begin to make plans to make-up the lost instruction. Additionally, we are also considering a voluntary summer tutoring program. Details will be announced at a later date.
Mangum Schools will be closed on Thursday for inclement weather. Currently the pipes are frozen in both cafeterias and the new gym. If water can be restored and road conditions improve, we will attempt to have school on Friday, otherwise it will be Monday.
Because of the inclement weather Mangum Schools will be closed Tuesday, 2/16 and Wednesday, 2/17.
